New Notforgotten Farm Class!!

Hey!  I will be teaching a finishing class at Notforgotten Farm on June 10th!

This project was so much fun to design and finish up. I love chickens, I found this antique chicken and lightening struck my brain!
This was what I was looking for all my life. Ok, not all of it. BUT, I started hyperventilating in the store and I knew it was meant to be.

All the chickens used for the class are antiques from the Indian Glass Company.

I love the "nesting" material

Hen and Chicks

An Egg Scissor Fob, Putford Scissors are included!

I love this project!

The linen used is 32ct. Ancient by Picture This Plus. I also have Aida available dyed by them as well. It's gorgeous!

You will pre-stitch the items and meet me at the farm to finish it all up!! WHEEE!!!!

I will also have a trunk show there and some gifts for my students.

Email Lori at notforgottenfarmwitch@gmail.com to sign up!

Class size is limited so hurry to get a spot!

Vowel House

Vowel House is ready!

This seemed to take forever. Not the stitching part, that was actually quite fast! The framing part!
Oh, I had a move in between finishing this and releasing it.
That explains it!

Stitched on 36ct. Ancient by Picture This Plus linen.

Gentle Art Threads were used to stitch this cute sampler.

You can buy it from this link or from the huge etsy link at the top of this blog.

Thanks!

Moving!

We are finally moving after ten long months of being semi homeless.
Our property got hit by a tornado and we had to move out and ended up staying in our friends spare bedroom. All our stuff is in storage but we were safe and No Kitty and Bubbles got all situated with our friends dog and are now inseparable. Ok, Bubbles and Chris are inseparable, they can do without the cat.

I have been conducting my business out of a few totes and a dining room table for most of the past year.  It has been a challenge for all of us!  My friend is a saint, I swear.

One thing we found out is we love living together and we are going to sign on our new place this coming Saturday! YAY!

I am looking forward to unpacking all my stuff and settling in again to my own place. I will have a new sewing room! YIPPEE! And it has a fireplace!  I will post before and after photos of the new digs.

Here are some photos of my old sewing room, my old old dining room and some things that inspire me.
Enjoy.

Oh! And a peek at a new design coming out soon!

My old sewing room, you can read the post about it here https://lucybeam.blogspot.com/2015/04/sewing-redux.html

My old, old dining room circa 2009.  I loved this room.

My new/old obsession, White Milk Glass.  I have acquired quite a lot of it recently and cannot wait to use is in my new place!

Pyrex. Need I say more? LOVE.

A peek of my new design coming out soon! Stitch Always. I'm going to make a stitching bag out of it. Stay tuned!

NEW NAME!! ALERT!

Hi guys!

I have decided to change the name of my company.

I have been thinking about this for a year and decided to do it.

The New Name is

Lucy Beam ~ Love In Stitches.

Lucy Beam was my grandmother who instilled in me a love of all things crafty.

My grandparents when they visited us in Bermuda.

Don't worry folks. My designs will still reflect my unique sense of humor and style.

Me with some monkeys.

Stay tuned for the first project from my Stitchy Love Club.

I have been getting some flack for this change but I'm young enough in my career I feel like this is the right move at the right time.

Thanks for hanging with me!!

ROCK ON!
