Lucy
It is with a sad and heavy heart that this news is told. Our new dog Lucy died of cancer a couple of days ago. We knew she had had cancer and was in remission when we got her. What no one knew was it had come back with a vengeance. She died in my arms and is finally free to see and smell and run free in doggy heaven.

oh honey I am so sorry ~ you filled her last precious days with your love & light ~ when you see her again she will run to you with tail wagging & big wet kisses! Thank you for taking her in, knowing she was in need, and for loving her.
